Aditi from IIT Roorkee zone has emerged as the topper among female candidates in JEE Advanced 2014 by securing an All India Rank of 7 in the common merit list. This Jalandhar girl is among top five girls, who are under top 100 rankers of this prestigious engineering entrance exam. Advocating sincere hard work as the crucial reason behind her success, Aditi believes in ‘Girl Power’ and thinks that girls can perform amazingly in any field. She likes to listen to soothing music and watch movies to freshen-up her mind. Her elder brother is a source of inspiration for her, who motivated her throughout the preparation period. Super 30 JEE ADVANCED 2014 Results: 27 make it to IITs

Super 30, led by mathematician Anand Kumar has again excelled in IIT-JEE Advance result which was declared on Thursday with 27 out of its 30 students clearing the prestigious test. Another set of candidates led by Bihar DGP Abhayanand, who supports nine Super 30 centres across several states, too had a superlative performance with 102 out of 344 students acing the examination. Both Anand and Abhayanand have taken their Super 30s out of Bihar to reach out to the talents from Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Assam and a few other states. Anand’s current batch of 27 successful candidates include 11 from UP and one each from Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. Abhayanand, who guides two Super 30 centres in Bihar, three in Assam and one each in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and New Delhi, managed a cumulative list of 102 successful candidates. JEE Advanced 2014 Analysis -  JEE Advanced 2014 threw average to difficult level of questions with candidates and experts suggesting Chemistry tougher and the remaining two subjects easier compared to last year. The question paper had a total of 10 sets – 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. Paper 1 analysis: According toPraveen Tyagi, M.D. IITian's PACE, Paper 1 Chemistry was one of the most difficult amongst the papers conducted in last 10 years. “In Mathematics Paper 1, the question paper involved many conceptual questions without any errors. The paper format made the paper little lengthy but easier than last year,” he said. The Physics Paper 1 was lengthy and there were few speed breakers which were very lengthy, which could have been attempted later.
